The D20x22 S3 Navigator hydraulic directional drill has 19,550 pounds of thrust/pullback with 2,200 lb.-ft. of torque. The 74-horsepower Deutz engine is Tier 4-Final compliant and delivers 12 percent more power than its predecessor, according to Vermeer. A new hydraulic system design has enhanced rotation, thrust and tracking performance over its predecessor, the D16x20 Series II. Carriage speed is 167 fpm.
