RC is responsible for daily operations and running the road/utility division of RCS Construction, the family business. He serves on the South Dakota AGC Heavy Highway/Utility board of directors.
Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.
Professional accomplishments: Being part of the RCS Construction team that was selected for two of the three “Build South Dakota Awards” in 2018. The company has grown consistently between 8 and 12 percent each year over the past five years. Appointed to the City of Rapid City Trenching Board in 2017, and elected president in 2018.
Fun fact: At one time, I was the youngest person to climb Mount Everest and the
7 Summits, the tallest mountain on each continent.
Extracurricular: RCS regularly contributes to local charities and organizations that help children.
