Top 100: Solid-State Circuitry Curtails Failure

Sept. 28, 2010

Liberator 4000 from Ideal Crane has a 100-percent solid-state circuit board with arc-suppression circuits that protect against electrical failure. It has no mechanical relays, and a premium electrical motor tolerates greater heat and extends operating cycles. All-steel gear and worm drive rotation system provides 360-degree continuous rotation. Lower-pressure hydraulics extend battery-powered duty cycle. Estimated list price: $7,500 to $9,400.
