Ford says its F-150 pickup has more than 20 best-in-class capabilities, including towing (9,900 pounds), payload (3,000 pounds), cargo box volume (81.3 cubic inches), low-end torque, and more. Another important feature is the truck's fully boxed frame, which is twice as strong as its predecessor, and also said to be best-in-class. It offers the redesigned 5.4-liter Triton V-8 engine that makes as much as 300 horsepower and 365 pounds-feet of torque. The base engine is the two-valve 4.6-liter V-8 rated at 231 horsepower. The interiors also feature many enhancements. Estimated list price: $21,000 to $36,000.
