Professional accomplishments: Designed and supervised installation for several tank farms, including foundation work/design, surveying, procurement of equipment, piping design, and permitting. Designed and built several kinds of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) units for both crushing plants and certain asphalt plant control functions. MA Engineer in Training, STI certified tank inspector, Crane Institute Certified Mobile Crane Inspector.
Off the clock: Building and flying radio-controlled planes.
Favorite book: “The Art of Racing in the Rain.” I relate to this book as it depicts the necessary skill to drive smoothly while on the racetrack. Metaphorically it demonstrates how to aim high for your dreams while knowing who your true and loyal friends are.
