TerraQuip Acquires Terramite
TerraQuip Construction Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coneqtec, acquired The Terramite Co. Coneqtec plans to keep manufacturing the Terramite product line in the acquired company's facilities. Terramite was formed in 1965 and claims to have designed the first compact backhoe loader in the early 1970s.

Terramite was formed in 1965 and claims to have designed the first compact backhoe loader in the early 1970s. The Terramite brand name will continue under the ownership of TerraQuip.
