Takeuchi TB180FR expands the line to 18,000-pound operating weight, with the rubber-track version weighing 18,370 pounds and the steel version 18,821 pounds. Powered by a Yanmar 4TNV98 diesel, the unit digs up to 14 feet 11 inches. A patented side-to-side (STS) offset boom system works with a zero tail swing that allows the machine to slew 360 degrees. A tilt-up operator's platform and full opening engine compartment provide quick access for service and maintenance. Automatic fuel bleed system is standard.
