Stellar Industries TM20165 truck-mounted tire manipulator is capable of changing the largest off-the-road (OTR) tire on the market today, the 59/80R63, and can handle tire-and-rim combinations weighing up to 20,000 pounds, says the company. The TM20165 has a reach of more than 24 feet, allowing it, says Stellar, to mount and dismount outside as well as inside dual tires without repositioning the truck. The new tire manipulator has a clamping span that ranges from 44 to 165 inches and provides continuous manipulator-pad rotation and 315-degree body rotation. A new low-profile “quad stabilizer package” is designed to enhance stability when lifting large, mounted OTR tires.
