The patented Simul-Phase alternator allows for the simultaneous use of single- and three-phase voltage with the same Shindaiwa mobile generator. The dual voltage allows users to have 120- and 240-volt power for lights, electric tools and air conditioners at the same time as supplying three-phase 240/480-volt power for motors driving compressors and pumps. Simul-Phase technology was first introduced on Shindaiwa's kWiet Power model DGK25C, a 20-kilowatt generator powered by a low-noise Isuzu diesel engine. Estimated list price: $19,500.
