The severe-duty Schred Max 56 SD processes stumps and other materials and sends debris through the machine without wear on the replaceable cutters. The shredder consists of a 9-inch auto-reversing shaft and five double-tipped, 3.5-inch-thick, bi-directional cutters. The hopper measures 5×6 feet with a volume of 4 cubic yards. It comes standard with a 50-hp diesel engine.
