Philippi-Hagenbuch Rear-Eject/End-Dump Body

Sept. 28, 2010

A customer who processes large amounts of steel scrap liked the standard Philippi-Hagenbuch rear-eject truck body for hauling, but also wanted the ability to have a traditional end-dump feature. So Philippi-Hagenbuch came up with what it says is not only the first rigid-frame rear-eject body for off-highway trucks, but also the large-haul industry's first combo body alternative, mounted on a Komatsu HD325-7 chassis. With a 900-cubic-foot capacity, the combo rear-eject/end-dump body features a mechanical Autogate tailgate. A simple design requires no daily maintenance, rollers or lubrication points.Estimated list price: $150,000+.
