Peterbilt 220 medium duty cabover truck has a new electronic braking system and an redesigned cab.
A curved dashboard features easy-to-read instrumentation and an interactive, 5-inch color display module that provides information on vehicle and driver performance. The steering wheel includes multiple functions, and a push-button style shifter has been placed within easy reach of the driver, Peterbilt says.
Additional improvements include a galvanized-steel bumper, a radiator protection plate, and Lexan covering over the headlamps.
A low chassis weight enables improved fuel economy and lower emissions. The Peterbilt 220’s single axle provides added maneuverability, plus better fuel economy with its reduced weight.
