The Ingersoll Rand Titan 8820 is a 19.3-ton, 243-hp paver designed, says the company, for placing any kind of wearing, binder or base course, including roller-compacted concrete, stone, soil cement and asphalt. The machine accommodates a variety of screeds and is capable of placing asphalt and concrete at widths to 43 feet and depths to 12 inches. It uses a patented dual-tamping screed for high density and is equipped with an electronic paver-management system that provides on-board diagnostics. Estimated list price: $500,000–$600,00.
