Mustang R Series Skid Steer Loaders

Sept. 10, 2014

A new lift-arm design for the just-announced Mustang R Series mid-frame skid steer loaders, 1350R, 1500R and 1650R, provides 10 percent better visibility, compared with previous models, says the company. A larger operator’s station is the same as that used on the company’s large-frame R Series models, and a pressurized enclosure with climate control is available. New in the cab is full-color digital display, and control choices include T-Bar, hand/foot and, for the larger model, joysticks. Operating capacities for the new radial-lift models are 1,350, 1,500 and 1,650 pounds, respectively; an available counterweight increases capacity. Tier 4 Yanmar engines have 46.3 horsepower for the 1350R and 1500R; the 1650R is rated at 69.9. The auxiliary-hydraulic system delivers a flow of 17 gpm for the smaller models and 18.9 gpm for the larger 1650R.
