The Morbark Model 60 Talon Debris shear is aimed at assisting in recycling stumps, logs, ties, poles and other bulky wood waste up to 60 inches, depending on carrier linkage and cylinder stroke. According to Morbark, the tool is ideal for processing material before grinding, since it helps eliminate rocks and dirt that cause wear in the grinder and allows the grinder to digest more manageable material.
