The FD3000 front-discharge mixer truck from Terex Roadbuilding has a 10-cubic-yard payload capacity and a larger, 46-inch paving drum for better low-slump concrete discharge and consistent high-slump material flow. The Total Control System improves drum-operation control, and the Eaton RE:Control combines drum rotation, speed and start/stop into one ergonomic joystick. The operator can steer the truck while pumping concrete at the same time, and outside drum controls have moved from the front to the side of the truck for safer operation. The cab now has more interior space for an optional, inside-the-cab, flip-down trainer seat. Estimated list price: $140,000–$160,000.
