Michelin 12N16.5 X-Tweel for Skid Steer Loaders

Michelin 12N16.5 X-Tweel is a non-pneumatic tire and wheel assembly that fits on most skid steer loaders, the company says. The single unit replaces the tire, wheel and valve assembly—23 components, says Michelin—and is comprised of a rigid hub that is connected to a shear band by flexible, deformable polyurethane spokes and a tread band. Michelin says the tweel requires no maintenance of air pressure, easy mounting, damage resistance, increased operator comfort, reduced operator fatigue, improved productivity, longer wear life than pneumatic tires, and excellent traction.
