Mack Adds Single Rear Axle Granite Class 7, 8 Truck

Single-rear-axle MHD 4x2 Mack Granite comes in Class 7 and Class 8 versions. The Class 7 truck has a Mack-branded 12,000-pound-capacity steer axle and a 21,000-pound Meritor rear axle. The standard and only engine is a Cummins ISL9 diesel rated at 345 horsepower and 1,150 pound-feet. An Eaton 10-speed manual transmission is standard and others, including Allison automatics, are optional.
