The 842IV Z-bar is billed as the first model in LiuGong’s wheel loader line to feature a Tier 4-I engine, which is a 193-net-horsepower Cummins six-cylinder, turbocharged, water-cooled diesel. Its ZF 4WG200 4/3 automatic shift transmission with a single stage, three-element torque converter transfers that engine power to provide a breakout force of 30,574 pounds. Static tipping load rating is 25,640 pounds straight and 22,311 pounds in a full turn. It features automatic boom kick-out/return-to-dig to ensure fast cycle times for loading using a standard 3.5-cubic-yard general-purpose bucket with reversible cutting edge. LiuGong’s standard ride control system and single lever pilot controls reduce operator fatigue and allow efficient loading operations. Travel speeds range from 26.2 mph forward and 16.5 mph in reverse.
