The Meridian Health Village will have a unique Y-shaped design that is both retail and residential in feel. There are three key service areas within the Y-shape that will all be uniquely grouped together within the building's layout: an internal medical/family practice area, a women's and children's health area, and a section for medical and surgical specialists. In addition to the three service areas, the building will house a surgery center, imaging center, urgent care center, rehabilitation, phlebotomy laboratory and patient education area.

The building is distinctive in its consumer-driven concept. Meridian Health did a great deal of research to plan the design of the facility, conducting formal focus groups and consulting with members of the surrounding community. The goal was to make the facility a healthy lifestyle focal point for residents, and a place to go not just when they are sick, but when they are well and focused on disease and illness prevention. In addition to medical services, the building will also house food services, a community based fitness center, medical spa and other services.
