The new R924 Compact Swing excavator belongs to a new generation of Liebherr machines. It features a newly developed Liebherr diesel D936S engine that meets the new Tier 3 noise and emissions regulations.
The new excavator has a less than 6-foot swing radius and is ideal for working on the side of a highway or in the city on narrow busy roads. When equipped with Likufix, Liebherr's hydraulic quick-coupler system, the R924 can do the work of breaking concrete, grading, trenching, or truck loading. Likufix couples both the attachment and hydraulics, allowing the operator to quickly change from a simple backhoe bucket to a hydraulic hammer by pressing a button without leaving the cab.
