Kubota’s four-passenger RTV1140CPX four-wheel-drive utility vehicle transforms easily to two-person seating (like Kawasaki’s Mule 4010 Trans4x4) with what Kubota calls best-in-class cargo space. Retractable seatbelts and a hydraulic dump bed, functional in both seating modes, come standard on all RTV1140CPX models. A three-cylinder, 24.8-horsepower Kubota diesel engine powers the vehicle. It stops on four-wheel wet disc brakes and hydraulic power steering. The RTV1140CPX also features a new VHT Plus transmission that delivers easier gear-shifting and smoother dynamic braking. Maximum cargo load is 1,102 pounds, with a towing capacity of 1,300 pounds.
