Three models have been added to the line of intelligent Machine Control crawler dozers: D37i-23, D39i-23, and D51i-22. Units have fully automatic blade control for both rough and finish grading. Factory-installed cab-top GNSS antenna, enhanced inertial measurement unit, and stroke-sensing hydraulic cylinders replace machine control components typically mounted on the blade.
Operating weights for the D51i-22 range from 27,381 to 29,057 pounds, and it is powered by a Tier 3 SAA6D107E-1 engine providing 130 horsepower at 2,200 rpm. Operating weights for the D37i-23 and D39i-23 range from 18,872 to 21,848 pounds. Tier 4-Interim engines provide 89 and 105 horsepower at 2,200 rpm, respectively.
The dozers also feature the integration of the KOMTRAX telematics system and Topcon’s construction management system.
Weighing in at 106,924 pounds in log-loader configuration, the Komatsu PC390LL-10 has a new Oregon OSHA ROPS/OPS/FOPS/TOPS/WBC certified forestry cab and features a swing system and undercarriage components from the next-size-larger Komatsu excavator.
Using a 65.5-horsepower Tier 4-Final engine, the Komatsu PC88-MR-10 hydraulic excavator is designed, says the company, to bridge the gap between compact and construction-size models.
