Komatsu D155AX-8 Crawler Dozer

Nov. 24, 2014

The D155AX-8 crawler dozer has an operating weight of 89,300 pounds and is powered by a 354-horsepower Komatsu SAA6D140E-7 diesel, Tier 4-Final certified via SCR. It has a 12.3-cubic-yard Sigmadozer blade. Automatic gearshift transmission and lock-up torque converter team up to cut fuel consumption by up to 10 percent. The Palm Command Control System is a control joystick that elimates fatigue, the company says. Transmission gear shifting is controlled with thumb push buttons, and blade auto pitch minimizes repetitive lever movements.

An electronic control power train features the Hydrostatic Steering System (HSS). Counter-rotation is available while in neutral for minimum turning radius.

The dozer comes with Komatsu Care complementary scheduled maintenance for 3 years/2000 hours and includes two complimentary DPF exchanges and DEF tank flushes within the first five years.
