Komatsu D155AX-7 crawler dozer is powered by a Tier 4-Interim Komatsu SAA6D140E diesel rated at 354 net horsepower. Automatic transmission is matched with the new engine. Operating weight is 87,100 pounds, and Sigmadozer blade now incorporates a new auto blade pitch function. Palm Command Control System (PCCS) joystick features thumb push buttons to simplify transmission gear shifting. The electronic blade and new ripper control joystick now incorporates a new auto-return. Engine speed is controlled using an easy-to-operate electronic throttle control dial, which eliminates maintenance of linkage and joints. A new standard air ride seat with heat has a 15 percent higher capacity, the cab mounts reduce shocks and vibration, and the interior cab decibel is 75 dB(a).
