Kenworth Showcases Three 2008 Models At World Of Concrete

Kenworth showcased the 2008 model-year versions of its W900S mixer, T300 dump truck, T800 heavy hauler for ready mix providers, and other construction businesses at the annual World of Concrete Show in Las Vegas, Nev., from January 22-26. All three models now feature engines that comply with the new 2007 EPA standards.

Each model also offers new features and options.

Kenworth showcased the 2008 model-year versions of its W900S mixer, T300 dump truck, T800 heavy hauler for ready mix providers, and other construction businesses at the annual World of Concrete Show in Las Vegas, Nev., from January 22-26. All three models now feature engines that comply with the new 2007 EPA standards.

Each model also offers new features and options.

The T800 short-hood model with loader crane simplifies maneuvering and delivering material to tight job sites. The wide-hood heavy hauler version of the T800 can be now be equipped with a Cat C9 engine that weighs 900 pounds less than the previous engine, while delivering up to 350 horsepower. It also offers an optional steerable 20,000-pound pusher axle for maximum maneuverability and extended life.

The W900S mixer's new front-end design provides 4 additional degrees of wheel cut for tighter turning. It also can be ordered with an extended day cab that provides more storage and driver comfort.

The T300 dump truck boasts a heavy-duty chassis, and now features the new PACCAR PX-8 medium-duty engine, which meets the 2007 EPA standards.
