JCB has updated its smallest backhoe loader, the 1CX. Optional loader arms are 4 inches longer, and an extending dipper option adds up to 20 inches to provide maximum dig dept of 10 feet. A new Power Management System improves performance, reducing engine lug down as the machine starts to dig and increasing power when driving into a pile with the front bucket. Cab improvements include optional Servo backhoe controls and improved seat with 2 additional inches of leg room.

  • Operating weight: 6,283 - 6,500 pounds, depending on cab/canopy.
  • Maximum load height (front): 8 feet 4 inches
  • Maximum dig depth (rear with optional extending dipper): 10 feet

  • Loader breakout force: 5,193 lb.-ft.
