Kuva configurable wireless asset-tracking device from Intergis uses GPS/GSM system technology. Easily attached to a machine, the device provides location, time/date, and motion data transmitted to a remote server. Users track transmissions via a web-based mapping or satellite imagery application. Data can be integrated into logistics-management technologies. Proprietary software allows users to select reporting frequency. Battery-powered unit may last up to 2.5 years before recharging, says the company.
