The Ingersoll-Rand backhoe-loader range includes the side-shift BL-275 and two center-mount models, the BL-370 and BL-570. These machines are equipped with an attachment coupler, front and rear, complemented with auxiliary hydraulics. All three models use Kubota diesel engines rated at 32, 46 and 56 horsepower, respectively. Backhoe digging depths are 10 feet 6 inches, 11 feet and 12 feet, respectively. These hydrostatically powered machines feature four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering.
JCB’s 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders now come standard with the company’s Tier 4-Interim Ecomax diesel engines, delivering up to 9 percent better fuel consumption and a 6 percent boost in torque, the company says.
Cat 450F backhoe loader is a four-wheel-drive unit powered by a Cat C4.4 diesel meeting Tier 4-Interim standards. Gross power is increased 5 percent, and torque 30 percent, to 396 lb.-ft.
