Indiana Phoenix has expanded its glider kit program with Certified and Super versions for which the builder rather than the customer finds or furnishes the "donor" truck. This allows the truck that otherwise would be traded in on a Phoenix Standard Glider to stay in service. A Certified Glider's powertrain is rebuilt as needed to bring components to like-new condition, then installed in a new chassis.

A Certified Glider's powertrain is rebuilt as needed to bring components to like-new condition, then installed in a new chassis. A Super Glider includes a remanufactured Cummins diesel and reman'd Allison transmission. Both products carry one-year warranties. Phoenix glider-kitted trucks include new frames, cabs, lights and wiring, drums, chutes and other parts, and deliver like-new performance at a fraction of a new truck's price.
