Republican members of the House Energy and Commerce Committee have launched a website designed to ratchet up pressure on President Obama to approve the Keystone XL pipeline.

The site, detailed in The Hill/E2 Wire blog, includes a "Keystone Clock" that calls attention to the number of days that have passed since TransCanada filed an application for the project.

What's the total so far? 1,608 days at the time of this posting. Environmental concerns are largely responsible for the delay.
