iGX general-purpose engines feature an integrated electronic-control unit (ECU) that provides complete drive-by-wire remote control capability. An integrated ECU with STR Governor system controls functions such as starting, throttle, ignition timing and diagnostics. Engine speed can be programmed and varied based on application load and speed requirements. An extension of the GX Series commercial-grade engines, the iGX 440 15-hp overhead-cam engine debuts in summer '05.
