IDBI dowel bar inserter is available for Gomaco's Commander III four-track concrete slipform paver. Next-generation attachment is an independent unit that allows for insertion of dowel bars behind that paver. It is powered by a 91-horsepower Caterpillar C4.4 Tier 3 diesel, which means no power is needed from the Commander engine. Bolted to the frame, the attachment's only connection to the paver is the CAN cable for machine automation, which allows the two systems to communicate. The IDBI attachment will soon be available for other Gomaco pavers.
