Genie GTH-1056 Rough-Terrain Telehandler

Sept. 28, 2010

When designing the new GTH-1056 rough-terrain telehandler, says Genie, the aim was a 10,000-pound-rated machine that could maneuver in tight spaces without compromising lift and reach capability. The resulting specifications are an outside turning radius of 13 feet 3 inches and a 500-pound lift capacity at maximum reach (42 feet) without stabilizers, or 3,000 pounds with the stabilizers planted. Lift capacity at the machine's maximum height of 56 feet 10 inches is 4,000 pounds.

To improve overall machine utilization, says Genie, the quick-attach system was redesigned to accommodate better attachment interchange between models and brands. The new telehandler weighs less than 30,000 pounds and is available with either a Perkins (127 horsepower) or John Deere (125 horsepower) diesel engine. Estimated list price: $149,985.
