General Equipment M235 Two-Man Hole Digger with Briggs & Stratton Engine

May 11, 2016

The M235 Two-Man Hole Digger features new polymeric Gen 2 Comfort-Flex operator handle technology with integrated flex-type handle grips, designed to absorb torque-related kickback forces and dampen machine vibrations.

t is also a lighter weight, more compact unit, 30 percent lighter than other General two-man hole digger models. It has a Briggs & Stratton 190cc, 4.5-horsepower gas engine, and delivers a maximum drilling torque of 154 lb.-ft. The newly designed, heavy duty, oil-cooled transmission includes a centrifugal all-metal clutch and machine-cut spur gears with a 1-inch diameter output shaft. The new transmission lock feature allows for easy removal of a stuck auger from the ground without disconnecting the power unit from the auger and helping prevent damage to both, General says.
