Two new fully extendable screed options on the 1648 Power Box asphalt paver allow it to address individual applications. Equipped with a 6-ton hopper and a 41-hp Isuzu diesel engine running at 3,000 rpm, the paver can operate at infinitely variable speeds up to 130 fpm. Paving widths range from 8 to 13 feet and paving depths up to 6 inches. A dual burner propane screed system allows the screed to reach operating temperature quickly.
The new Roadtec RP-2505 asphalt paver is a 174-horsepower (Caterpillar engine), heavy-duty, steel-track, 8-foot machine that uses a high-density, tamper-bar screed.
Powered by a 230-horsepower Cummins engine that complies with Tier 4-Interim emissions standards, the new highway-class Roadtec RP-190e rubber-tire asphalt paver features an anti-segregation material-delivery system, redesigned operator station, fume extraction system and high-capacity hydraulics for the propel system.
