Ford affiliate Jaingling Motors will acquire Taiyuan Changan Heavy Truck. Ford owns 30 percent of Jaingling.

The move will allow Ford access to the China market, which is the largest in the world at almost 1 million units, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The Ford plant in Nanchang, which also houses the Jaingling headquarters, will be able to built 300,000 trucks in 2013, according to The Detroit Free Press.
