A polyurethane support designed into the center of the BLS Poly Bolt-Ontrack pad allows it to be bolted to a steel triple-grouser track shoe, rather than permanently bonded. Poly Bolt-On pads are attached by four studs extending through holes drilled in the steel shoe and secured by lock nuts. The pads can be replaced in the field in half the time of bonded pads. Steel shoes are reused, saving 25 to 35 percent in replacement parts and reducing shipping weight by 80 percent. Estimated list price: $31 to $61.
