According to the manufacturer, EZ-Lock is a “plug and play” anti-theft system that disables a machine’s starter, ignition, or fuel system to prevent unauthorized use.
The EZ-Lock plug-in module replaces the factory relay in most instance, but a hard-wired unit is available that installs is less than 30 minutes, says the manufacturer. Machines with 24-volt systems require a converter and extra relay. Starting the machine requires either that the operator enters a personal identification code or uses a wireless controller. If the machine is not started within 30 seconds, the system rearms.
