Model JT1220 Mach 1 is a compact directional drilling system in the 12,000-pound class. According to Ditch Witch, the drill is quiet—less than 100 dB(A)—allowing it to work long hours in sound-sensitive areas. The machine features an innovative pipe-loader design, says the company, and its 15-gpm drilling-fluid system allows the unit to install larger product in a variety of soil conditions. The JT1220 Mach 1 package includes the drill unit, drill pipe, down-hole tools, tracker, fluid system and trailer.
