The Decisiv Mobile Technician, an application of the Decisiv Service Relationship Management platform, is designed to promote service-technician productivity and efficiency.

The Mobile Technician, says the system’s developer, Decisiv, helps field service managers determine which technician to dispatch, based on availability, qualifications, and proximity of the qualified mobile technician to the asset requiring service or repair. The assigned technician then uses the mobile app to track travel and on-site work time, perform inspections, take pictures, and add any additional work required to the service case. The system also allows for review of all case details and communication with the customer, says Decisiv, giving service providers the ability to make decisions that improve field service efficiency and mobile technician productivity.
