Hammer Construction, Norman, Okla., has used state tax credits and rebates from its gas supplier to convert eight of its 55 pickup trucks to CNG. The company’s VP-operations, Robby Moore, told NewsOK.com that the $5,000 investment would be recovered in fuel savings after 40,000 miles.

Hammer plans to convert more trucks, and it has trained two employees for the task, which takes two days.
