Continental Biomass Industries says its 6800T track grinder can grind wood as fast as a 30-inch chipper can chip, and has hammer tips that can last up to 20 times longer than those of a comparable chipper. The unit is designed for land-clearing companies and yard-waste processors that demand high-volume output on a maneuverable platform. Weighing 75,000 pounds, it measures 39 feet 10 inches long (in travel position) by 10 feet 6 inches wide by 11 feet 9 inches high. It comes with a Cat C16 or 3412E diesel to provide 1,050 horsepower.
