The Caterpillar Fusion quick coupler moves the load’s center of gravity closer to the machine so that the loader performs much like it is using a pin-on bucket, with no change in tipping load. The patented design uses wedges to pull the attachment tight to the machine in two directions. Wedge locking ensures a snug, rattle-free fit and allows many machines to share work tools with the Fusion interface. The open-frame design gives the operator clear sight lines to the work tool, load and target location. Fusion is available for Caterpillar wheel loader models ranging from the 924 to the 972, including the IT38 and IT62.
