Caterpillar 770, 772 Haul Trucks

With the new 770 and 772 rigid-framed haul trucks, Caterpillar introduced a center-mounted cab, which is 14 inches wider and provides 52 percent more glass for better visibility to both sides of the machine. The 770 and 772 use Cat ACERT C15 and C18 engines, respectively. Automatic Retarding Controlis standard equipment on both trucks, allowing them to descend grades upto 15 percent quicker than with manual retarding. Pneumatic brakes werereplaced by hydraulic systems.
