Model 336E excavator replaces the 336D, and it is one of the first Caterpillar machines to meet EPA Tier-4-Interim emissions requirements. Powered by a Cat C9 engine, the unit is billed as offering 18 percent more power, advanced electronic control, precise fuel delivery, and refined air management. It also features increased lifting capacity with stronger boom, arm and swing frame. Cab improvements include larger monitor with new layout, adjustable joystick controls, new A/C compressor, and radio with input for MP3 player. Machines will be available in January.
Recent engineering enhancements to the Tier 4-Final Cat M Series small wheel loaders (926M, 930M, and 938M), as well as the K Series models (924K, 930K, 938K), include a new secondary display module option that improves operator interface and navigation, and makes available a host of special payload management and service options.
Cat Grade Control 3D is now available on the D3K2, D4K2, and D5K2 crawler dozers.
