Designed for all phases of asphalt compaction, the Cat CD54 vibratory asphalt compactor features front and rear pivoting split drums and four steering modes. When fully offset, coordinated steering allows a 110-inch inside turning radius. Its split-drum propel system enables the roller to make tight turns without damaging the hot mat, Cat says. The unit has a standard compaction width of 67 inches and, when combined with the 51-inch offset feature, has a total compaction width of 118 inches. The water spray system has a 198-gallon tank.
