The most recent machine to be added to the Case E-Series wheel loader line is the 621E, which is equipped with a 6.7-liter, 168-horsepower, electronically controlled engine and a new cab. The new Tier-III-compliant engine, says Case, performs at three power curves to better match the application and to reduce operating costs. The redesigned cab, the same used on other E-Series models, features new operator amenities, which includes floor-to-ceiling glass in the front that affords enhanced visibility to the tires and cutting edge. Maintenance features include a large, one-piece, electric-lift hood that provides easy access to the entire engine compartment and cooling module, centralized grease fittings and daily check points accessible from ground level.
