Upgraded to Tier 4-Interim with an 11.9-liter engine, the 1221F is a 355-horsepower wheel loader
Upgraded to Tier 4-Interim with an 11.9-liter engine, the 1221F is a 355-horsepower wheel loader with an operating weight of 66,800 pounds. The engine uses CEGR with a DOC and DPF. A new power shift transmission has mode settings. The engine and transmission, at maximum travel speed, allow for increases in productivity of 18 percent and fuel efficiency of 8 percent, the companys says. Bucket sizes range from 6.3 to 7.8 cubic yards, and breakout force with a 6.8-yard bucket is 55,730 pounds. The 1221F comes standard with ProCare, a suite of product assurances that includes a three-year Advanced Case SiteWatch telematics subscription, a three-year/3,000-hour full-machine factory warranty, and a three-year/3,000-hour planned maintenance contract.
The 580N EP backhoe loader is positioned as an “efficient power” (EP) version of the 580N.
Staying true to its legacy as an early adopter of SCR technology, Case Construction Equipment has introduced two Tier 4-Final skid steers (SR270 and SV300) and two Tier 4-Final compact track loaders (TR340, TV380) that use SCR to achieve T4F, as well as two skid steers (SR240, SV280) that use a particulate matter catalyst solution (no DPF) to meet regulations.
