Bridgestone Firestone North America Tire (BFNT) has introduced its L320 on/off-road radial drive tire, which, says the manufacturer, has an aggressive block design that provides superior traction, “retread-ability” and is usable at highway speeds to 65 mph. The specially designed block tread and open shoulders, says BFNT, dig into soft surfaces for traction, and stabilizing tie-bars link adjoining tread blocks to resist wear.

The specially designed block tread and open shoulders, says BFNT, dig into soft surfaces for traction, and stabilizing tie-bars link adjoining tread blocks to resist wear. The new tire has a 31/32-inch tread depth and incorporates a tread compound that resists cutting, chipping and tearing. Four steel belts and an all-steel casing enhance retreading. The L320 is available in 11R22.5 and 11R24.5 sizes, both in G and H load ratings, and in 12R22.5 in H load rating.
